Hello! Welcome to your Arabic language class. My name is Doctor Zaid Ahmad and I have a doctorate in the Arabic language. I work at the University of California – San Bernardino. I am originally from Najaf, Iraq, and I live in San Bernardino. My office is in the College of Humanities and Liberal Arts, directly before the College of Sciences. I am married, and I have a son and a daughter. My wife is also Iraqi - from the city of Baghdad - and is a professor of chemistry. My son, Rasool, is a student at the University of California – San Francisco, and he is studying English literature. He likes electronic games. My daughter, Ayat, is a student at the University of California–Fullerton, and she studies computer science. She reads a lot of books in Arabic and English. She lives in the city of Pomona with her grandmother. |

My home is located near the University. I study the Arabic language three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On the weekend, on Saturday, I go with my friends to the mall, and I buy new book in Arabic or in Spanish, and I eat with my friends at the Mexican restaurant in the mall. At the end of the week, on Sunday, I write my homework, read my new book, and study my lessons. |
