ابن بطوطةالنَّص
وُلِدَ ابنُ بَطّوطَةَ في مَدينَةِ طَنْجَةَ في المَغرِبِ سَنَةَ 1304م. اِسمُهُ الكامِلُ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ عَبدِ اللهِ بنِ بَطّوطَةَ، وَكانَ مِن أُسرَةٍ تَهتَمُّ بِالعِلمِ وَالدِّينِ. مُنذُ صِغَرِهِ أَحَبَّ السَّفَرَ وَالمَعرِفَةَ، وَكانَ يَدرُسُ الفِقهَ الإِسلامِيَّ. بَدَأَ ابنُ بَطّوطَةَ رِحلَتَهُ الأُولَى وَهوَ في الحادِيَةِ وَالعِشرِينَ مِن عُمرِهِ، عِندَما قَرَّرَ أَن يَسافِرَ لِأداءِ فَريضَةِ الحَجِّ في مَكَّةَ. لَم تَكُن رِحلَتُهُ قَصيرَةً، بَلِ استَمَرَّت سَنَواتٍ طَويلَةً. فَقَد زارَ شَمالَ أَفريقيا وَمِصرَ وَبِلادَ الشّامِ وَالحِجازِ، ثُمَّ أَكمَلَ طَريقَهُ إِلى العِراقِ وَإِيرانَ وَاليَمنِ وَتُركيا. وَلَم يَتَوَقَّف هُناكَ، بَل واصَلَ أَسفارَهُ إِلى شَرقِ أَفريقيا حَيثُ زارَ تَنزانيَا وَكِينيا، ثُمَّ رَكِبَ البَحرَ إِلى الهِندِ وَعَمِلَ قاضِيًا في دِلهِي. بَعدَ ذَلِكَ سافَرَ إِلى الصِّينِ وَرَأى حَضارَتَها العَظيمَةَ، ثُمَّ عادَ إِلى المَغرِبِ بَعدَ حَوالَي ثَلاثينَ سَنَةً مِنَ التَّرحالِ.
كَتَبَ ابنُ بَطّوطَةَ قِصَّتَهُ في كِتابٍ مَشهورٍ اِسمُهُ "تُحفَةُ النُّظّارِ في غَرائِبِ الأَمصارِ وَعَجائِبِ الأَسفارِ"، وَيُعرَفُ عادَةً بِاسمِ رِحلَةِ ابنِ بَطّوطَةَ. هَذا الكِتابُ وَصَفَ فيهِ المُدُنَ وَالشُّعوبَ وَالعادَاتِ الَّتي شاهَدَها، وَهوَ مَصدَرٌ مُهِمٌّ لِلتّاريخِ وَالجُغرافيَا في العُصورِ الوُسطى. لَقَد قَطَعَ ابنُ بَطّوطَةَ مَسافَةً تُقارِبُ 120 أَلفَ كيلُومِتر، أَي أَكثَرَ مِمّا قَطَعَ أَيُّ رَحّالَةٍ آخَرَ في عَصرِهِ، حَتّى لُقِّبَ بِـرَحّالَةِ الإِسلامِ وَأَميرِ الرَّحّالَةِ.
تَأثيرُ ابنِ بَطّوطَةَ عَلَى العالَمِ
كانَ لابنِ بَطّوطَةَ أَثَرٌ كَبيرٌ عَلَى العالَمِ حَتّى بَعدَ وَفاتِهِ. فَقَد قَدَّمَ في كِتابِهِ أَوصافًا دَقيقَةً لِلبِلادِ وَالشُّعوبِ، وَأَصبَحَ مَرجِعًا مُهِمًّا لِلمُؤرِّخينَ وَالجُغرافيّينَ. كَمَا ساعَدَت رِحلاتُهُ عَلَى تَعزيزِ الحِوارِ بَينَ الثَّقافاتِ، وَنَقلِ صُورَةٍ عَنِ التَّنَوُّعِ الحَضارِيِّ مِنَ المَغرِبِ وَالأَندَلُسِ إِلى الهِندِ وَالصِّينِ وَأَفريقيا. نُصوصُهُ الغَنِيَّةُ بِالوَصفِ تُعَدُّ مِن أَروَعِ أَمثِلَةِ أَدَبِ الرِّحلاتِ، وَأَلهَمَت كُتّابًا وَباحِثينَ في الشَّرقِ وَالغَربِ. وَاليَومَ ما زالَ اِسمُهُ حاضِرًا، إِذ سُمِّيَت مَطاراتٌ وَمَراكِزُ وَمَدارِسُ بِاِسمِهِ، مِمّا يَجعَلُهُ رَمزًا عالَمِيًّا لِلمُغامَرَةِ وَالاِكتِشافِ.
