Sometimes folks think asking for help is a weakness...OMG it is anything but!! Asking for help is the smartest thing you can do: save yourself time, avoid frustration, and use your resources. There are several ways that you can ask for help in LIB101:
- Email, call, or visit your instructor
- Talk with ANY librarian at CCC Library. I am not always available, but there is nearly always a librarian available. All of us can help with LIB101 stuff.
- Use CCC Library's 24/7 chat-with-a-librarian service (available below) to get past those sticky moments at any time of the day or night. The chat service allows you to get help from a real, live librarian at any time of the day or night - really valuable, especially when you're up late writing papers the night before it's due! It is rarely a CCC Librarian, but they can help with most questions, especially if you give them a lot of information about the assignment you are struggling with.
Pro tip: There is an extra credit assignment using 24/7 Chat, so don't forget to add your email and submit your transcript of the conversation if you would like a few extra points!
