- What is your interest in environmental studies?
- What experiences in natural environments or other species do you have (gardening, plants, pets, hiking, etc.)?
- What environmental issues interest or engage you (for example, the natural world, conservation, gardening, animals, a love of mushrooms or of the ocean, extinction, water rights, etc.)?
- What questions you have for this semester (for example, how are policies and politics entangled with environmental issues, how are climate change and extreme weather related, how does observation and field work tie in with conservation, how does Environmental Studies overlap with other disciplines, etc.)?
