    25 Kung-Fu and Buddhism

There are lot of misperceptions about how Kung-Fu and Buddhsim relate, so a Philosopher of Martials Arts (yes, that is a job title you can have) decided to give a nice, clear explanation of how they work together. While it is available free online, it cannot be reprinted here. You can read it here: opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/12/08/kung-fu-for-philosophers/?_r=1 . Also, the film, Shaolin Soccer (2001) by Stephen Chow, contains a lot of discussion on the applications of Kung Fu (through a Buddhist mindset usually) to many areas of life, particularly soccer. It’s a hilarious watch, and definitely worth viewing and learning from.
