The pronoun EN is used:
- to replace a noun that follows du, de la, de l’, des or a quantity ( such as un, deux, un peu de, beaucoup de, etc.)
☞ Vous voulez du café ? – Oui, j’en veux. Would you like some coffee? -Yes, I would like some.
- with verbs followed by the preposition de: venir de (to come from), sortir de (to take out from), se souvenir de (to remember), etc.
☞ Vous venez de Paris ? – Oui, j’en viens. Are you coming from Paris ? Yes, I am coming from there.
- Je m’en vais. I’m leaving.
- J’en ai marre. I’ve had enough.
- Je n’en peux plus. I can’t take it anymore.
- Ne t’en fais pas. Don’t worry.
