Unknown time - with 'ever'

Example #1:

Have you ever gone to New York?

Yes, I have. OR No, I haven't.
Yes, I went to New York last year. It was lots of fun.

NOT: I have gone to New York last year.

Example #2:

Have you ever tried sushi?

Yes, I have. OR No, I haven't.
Yes, I have never tried sushi.
Yes, I tried sushi for the first a few days ago.

NOT: I have tried sushi for the first time a few days ago.

Example #3:

Have you ever studied another language?

Yes, I have studied French and Spanish.
Yes, I studied French and Spanish when I was in college

Or:

No, I have never studied another language.

Unknown time - with 'Yet & Already'

Have you had your morning coffee yet?

Yes, I have.
