    Learning Objectives

In this section, you will be able to:

    • Understand and use basic vocabulary related to the weather, the four seasons, and the holidays.

    The new vocabulary المفردات الجديدة

In this section, you will find vocabulary that relates to the theme of the weather and the four seasons (الطقس وفصول السنة). The new vocabulary will be divided into two tables: one for nouns, adjectives, and adverbs, and the second table for verbs. In each line, you can find the word in the singular and the plural forms if applicable, or masculine and feminine if the word is an adjective. In addition, you will see the meaning in English, the word in a sentence, and you hear from the audio the pronunciation of the word in singular and plural forms and reading the sentence. Listen and repeat the Arabic pronunciation of the new Vocabulary. You can review the vocabulary related to weather that we learned in the first book "Introduction to Arabic I", chapter "The Weather الطقس."

The word "المَناخ" means the climate in English. It originated from the Arabic language and used in the English language as "Almanac or Almanach."
