La población hispana en los Estados Unidos es muy diversa. Hay más de 37.000.000 de hispanos en los Estados Unidos, lo que representa un 12,85% de la población total del país. Hay muchos estados donde hay una presencia hispana muy grande. Los estados donde hay más hispanos en los Estados Unidos son: California, Tejas, Arizona y Nuevo México.
Hay muchos hispanos-americanos que tienen mucha influencia en la cultura y política de los Estados Unidos. Algunas personas hispanas famosas son: Ricky Martin (cantante puertorriqueño), Marco Rubio (senador del estado de la Florida), Sofía Vergara (actriz y comediante colombiana), Eva Longoria (actriz mexicano-americana), Enrique Iglesias (cantante español) y Wilmer Valderrama (actor y comediante colombiano-venezolano), entre muchos otros más. La influencia de los hispanos en Estados Unidos está en muchos lugares y cubre (covers) muchos aspectos sociales, incluso la cultura, el arte y la política.
