* In Italian, when a common noun is use as an adjective, like in the case of marrone or nocciola it does not change for plural.

Artemisia: "No, there is my younger sister Giuditta. Okay?" Michelangelo: "Yes, there is also my boyfriend, Tommaso." Artemisia: "Are you engaged?" Michelangelo: "Not yet. Tommaso lives in Rome." Artemisia: "How is Tommaso?" Michelangelo: "Thomas is twenty-eight years old. He is young, tall, thin. He has brown and curly hair and a beautiful smile. He is very affectionate. He is a lawyer. He is very ambitious: he wishes to become a magistrate. And how is your sister Giuditta?" Artemisia: "My sister Giuditta is 15 years old: she is small. She is not tall, but she is not short. She has long, blond hair. She is dynamic and curious. She loves art like I do. She’s an art high school student." Michelangelo: "How is your family?"
