Oprah: “Buongiorno Signor Mattarella, grazie mille di essere qui con me!” Sergio M.: “Prego, è un piacere. Oggi ho due biglietti per le Cappelle Medicee. Ha voglia di ammirare arte preziosa e quattro sculture di Michelangelo?” Oprah: “Certo, dove sono le Cappelle Medicee? Sono vicine o lontane? Abbiamo bisogno di prendere un taxi?” Sergio M.: “Non si preoccupi. Adesso facciamo una bella passeggiata. Non sono lontane da qui. La nostra visita è alle ore 11:30. Desidera prendere un caffè? “ Oprah: “Sì, è una buona idea. Ecco, qui di fronte c’è una pasticceria. Ho voglia di fare colazione”. In that pastry shop there are many pastries, sweets and typical products of Florence. At the counter there are two salesmen and at the checkout (in Italy check in) a cashier. Mattarella goes to the cashier and asks, "Can we sit in that table over there?" The lady replies: "Yes, you can have a seat." Mr. Mattarella and Mrs Winfrey sit and look at the menu. Oprah."Mr Mattarella, how is your family?" Sergio M. "Now my family is not very big. I have three children, but my wife is dead. I am a widower. You can identify which side of the family your grandparents are from with the adjectives paterno, materno

You can also distinguish between your famiglia immediata (immediate family) and your famiglia allargata (distant family).

To highlight ages differences among siblings you can use the adjectives maggiore (older, born earlier) and minore (younger, born later)*. You could also use the adjectives grande vs. piccolo:
