    Why care about permalinks?

Using a database permalink is important for two reasons. 1) you may need to include it in your citation, and 2) it is a great way to ensure you are able to find the same article again. Remember that the URL at the top of the page will not work for anything you need to sign into. Because you need to sign into the library system in order to search GVRL, Opposing Viewpoints, and all of the databases, you need to find the permalink.

Getting a permalink to database article in Gale

    1. Select the link to an article you like.
    2. Click the "Get Link" icon at the top of the page.
