    SLO: Employ rhetorical strategies consistent with the purpose of the writing task.

    After ten minutes, the instructor will open up the class for discussion.

    After the discussion, the instructor will present a lecture/powerpoint on the rhetorical appeals: ethos, pathos, and logos.
