    Students with identify and analyze the claim, grounds, warrants, and counterarguments presented in visual arguments (i.e. images, slogans, advertisements, etc.) that related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

    1. Engage in a recursive process of prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and proofreading
    2. Employ a voice, style, and tone appropriate to the topic selected and the rhetorical situation
    3. Direct an argument or explanation to the designated audience
    4. Establish a clear framework of essay and paragraph organization appropriate to the writing task and the thesis
    5. Employ rhetorical strategies consistent with the purpose of the writing task
    6. Incorporate reasoning and explanations appropriate to the thesis and its supporting claims
