    GO verbs

Some irregular verbs can be grouped together because they all have the same irregular change in their conjugation. The verbs listed below are called GO verbs because they have a GO in the YO form. For example

    hacer (to do, to make)

    hago hacemos

    haces hacéis

    hace hacen

Read the list of other verbs that will have a GO in their YO form.

    caer to fall

    decir to say, to tell

    hacer to do, to make

    oír to hear

    poner to put, to place

    salir to leave

    tener to have

    traer to bring

    venir to come

Read the following conjugations out loud. Note that some verbs also have some other changes. Try saying the verbs without the GO in the YO form or the other changes. Are they easier or harder to say with or without the changes?
