Sometimes we want to count higher than 100. To count from 101 to 199 we use the word ciento and add the other number.
For example
125 = ciento veinte y cinco
146 = ciento cuarenta y seis
198 = ciento noventa y ocho
There are numbers for the hundreds.
200 = doscientos
300 = trescientos
400 = cuatrocientos
500 = quinientos
600 = seiscientos
700 = setecientos
800 = ochocientos
900 = novecientos
1000 = mil
To count in between these numbers, we use the hundreds word and the other number.
For example
225 = doscientos veinte y cinco
349 = trescientos cuarenta y nueve
480 = cuatrocientos ochenta
595 = quinientos noventa y cinco
687 = seiscientos ochenta y siete
762 = setecientos sesenta y dos
875 = ochocientos setenta y cinco
999 = novecientos noventa y nueve
