    Learning Objectives
    • To develop an understanding of piano technique, note reading and performance proficiency to be able to confidently approach music learning independently by the end of the course.
    • To develop a basic understanding of music theory and improvisation to be able to confidently create music by the end of the course.

Lessons for the Piano Lab is a progressive introduction to piano practice designed to develop the technical, theoretical, and creative skills needed for independent music learning. The notes builds piano technique and note-reading proficiency through chromatic scales, five-finger patterns, chords, scales, and arpeggios while developing familiarity with both treble and bass clefs. Alongside technical performance skills, it introduces fundamental music theory and opportunities for improvisation and creativity, helping students gain the confidence to approach new music independently and create their own music.
