    Beryl, you have built a meaningful library guide to introduce transfer students to the resources and services at UNF. You provide a friendly introduction with student-centric language that students will appreciate. Your orientation video is superb and will help to introduce the student to the format and materials found in this guide.

    Beryl, you are off to a wonderful start with providing learning objectives for your LIFTS guide. However, they may need to be re-worked to meet Standards 5-6, as some verbs you use are not considered measurable. May I suggest that you review Bloom’s Taxonomy of Measurable Verbs to replace your current verb “learn” with a measurable verb? You will note that verbs such as “point,” “recall,” and “recite” are some of the verbs on Bloom’s revised list deemed measurable and thus more appropriate to use when describing a learning objective.     As a peer reviewer, I begin by pointing out the positives. I strategically chose to use “may” in my feedback to emphasize that Beryl is empowered to edit her guide with my suggestions or with her own idea. I am a coach, a peer, a colleague and not a dictator to the edits. Additionally, note that I provide a resource for Beryl with a concrete list of suggested verbs.
