Le morphème : “re-”, “ré-“, “r-”.
Re-/Ré- isa prefix that means doing and action again (just like in English). You can add it to many verbs. It is usually written with an accent aigu (ré-) when the following letter begins with a vowel. Sometimes r- is used when followed by an a.
Voici quelques exemples de l'application du préfixe "re-":
composer un numéro ➔ recomposer un numéro
démarrer l’ordinateur ➔ redémarrer l’ordinateur
apprendre à utiliser le logiciel ➔ réapprendre à utiliser le logiciel
annoncer la bonne nouvelle. ➔ réannoncer la bonne nouvelle.
Sometimes adding re- to a verb can mean more than just repeating an action. Compare prendre vs. reprendre.

reprendre (to resume [something], to regain, to pick up, to take up, to continue, to take over, to retake, to revive)

Or accrocher vs. raccrocher:
accrocher (to hang [slomething])
raccrocher (to hang up [a phone], to hang back up)
