    La langue vivante

An "anglicisme" is a word or expression borrowed from English and used in French. Anglicisms are very common among young people and have stronger presence in certian social practices such as pop culture to computer science and technology. Some guardians of the French language argue against “anglicismes” because they believe French equivalents can be invented for borrowed words. For example, in Québec, the word “pourriel” has been invented to replace the English word “spam.”
