    1. Read the November 2018 New York Times article: How to be a more patient person:  

    • Read the article once without stopping. 
    • Look up any new words.
    • Read it again to understand the article more deeply. 
    • Then think about the information and how it relates to you and your life experiences.

     

    2.  Write a paragraph [about 150-200 words] to respond to the following questions.  Make sure your paragraph focuses on these questions and includes the answers to all of them:

    • In your opinion, are you usually a patient person?
    • What are one or two specific situations in life when you are not very patient?
    • How do you usually react in those situations?
    • Which suggestion from the reading do you find valuable?  And why?
