    Sara: Hello, Ali! I'm fine, thank you. And you? Sara: Marhaban ya Ali! Ana bikhayr, shukran. Wa anta? سارة: مرحبًا يا علي! أنا بخير، شكرًا. وأنتَ؟

    Ali: I'm fine, thank God. Are you going to school today?

    Ali: Ana bikhayr, al-hamdu lillah. Hal tadhabeen ila al-madrasa al-yawm?

    علي: أنا بخير، الحمد لله. هل تذهبين إلى المدرسة اليوم؟

    Sara: Yes, I am going to school. I have a lesson in Arabic literature today.

    Sara: Na‘am, adhhabu ila al-madrasa. ‘Indi dars fi al-adab al-‘arabi al-yawm. سارة: نعم، أذهبُ إلى المدرسة. عندي درس في الأدب العربي اليوم
    Ali: Good! I love Arabic literature. Are you studying English literature? Ali: Jayyid! Ana uhibb al-adab al-‘arabi. Hal tadruseen al-adab al-inglizi? علي: جيد! أنا أحب الأدب العربي. هل تدرسين الأدب الإنجليزي؟
    Sara: Yes, I am studying English literature in class. Sara: Na‘am, adrusu al-adab al-inglizi fi al-saff. سارة: نعم، أدرسُ الأدب الإنجليزي في الصَّف
    Ali: What about science? Are you studying science today? Ali: Madha ‘an al-‘ulum? Hal tadruseen al-‘ulum al-yawm? علي: ماذا عن العلوم؟ هل تدرسين العلوم اليوم؟
    Sara: No, I study science on Thursday. What about you, Ali? What are you studying today? Sara: La, adrusu al-‘ulum fi yawm al-khamees. Madha ‘anka ya Ali? Madha tadrusu al-yawm? سارة: لا، أدرس العلوم في يوم الخميس. ماذا عنك يا علي؟ ماذا تدرسُ اليوم؟
    Ali: I am studying sports. Do you have a pen and an eraser with you? Ali: Adrusu al-riyada. Hal ma‘aki qalaman wa mimhatan? علي: أدرسُ الرياضة. هل معكِ قلمًا وممحاةً؟
    Sara: Yes, I have a pen, an eraser, a ruler, and a notebook with me. And you? Sara: Na‘am, ma‘i qalam, mimhat, mistara, wa daftar. Wa anta? سارة: نعم، معي قلم، مِمحاةَ، مِسطرةَ، ودفترَ. وأنتَ؟
    Ali: I have a new book in Arabic language. Ali: Ma‘i kitabun jadidun fi al-lugha al-‘arabiyya. علي: معي كِتابٌ جديدٌ في اللُغَة العربية
    Sara: Yes, and I love the Arabic language lesson.

    Sara: Na‘am, wa ana uhibbu darsa al-lugha al-‘arabiyya.
