    Exercise 1:

    In a 250-500 worded story about anything, use the following types of figurative language: 10+ Euphemisms. Underline the euphemisms.  

    Exercise 2:

    In a 250-500 worded story about anything, use the following types of figurative language: 10+ Double Entendres. Underline the double entendres.

    Exercise 3:

    In a 250-500 worded story about anything, use the following types of figurative language: 5 Similes/Metaphors and 5 Oxymorons. Underline the similes (and/or metaphors) and put oxymorons in italics.   

    Exercise 4:

    The Combo Challenge – Complete all three activities above in ONE essay/story!

    Exercise 5:

    Create your own figurative language activity and complete it or exchange it with a classmate.
