Streaming is the continuous transmission of audio over a network without requiring the user to fully download the file before listening.
How Streaming Works

A server stores audio files.

When a listener presses play, compressed chunks of the audio are sent over the internet.

The user’s device buffers several seconds of audio ahead of playback.

Playback begins while data continues to stream in real-time.
Advantages of Streaming

Disadvantages
