¿Cuál es la fecha? What is the date?*

In this section, you’ll learn how to tell the date in Spanish. It’s a good thing to know, since otherwise you’re likely to miss flights, appointments, and, yes, dates.**

Before we get to calendar dates, though, we need to learn a few other useful words: seasons, months, and days. And, of course, you’ll need to refresh your memory of the numbers from one to thirty-one. If you’re shaky on those, you might want to go back and review.

* As you learned in the last section, we might want to think of ¿Cuál es la fecha? as : “Of the many dates out there, which one is this?”
** If you ask someone out on a fecha, however, they won’t know what you’re talking about. For that, try una cita…and ¡Buena Suerte!
