We can add to those statements and even talk about how often or how well people do those activities or actions.
Adverbs let us say how people do those actions. If you don't know much about adverbs below is a link with an explanation and a short video explaining the purpose of an adjective and how they are different from adjectives. And soon instead of just saying I study at the library, you'll be able to say I study at the library a menudo (often). You can also say things like I play the guitar bien (bien) or I run rapidly (rapidamente).
