When presenting what someone wears using clothing and colors, remember that colors are adjectives describing clothing (nouns). In French, adjectives (i.e.: colors) agree in gender (masculine, feminine) and number (singular, plural) with the noun(s) they modify.
Marc porte une chemise noire, une cravate blanche, un pantalon gris, des chaussures noires et un chapeau blanc.
Alicia porte un chemisier gris, un short vert, des bottes marron* (invariable) et une casquette violette.
En France, les étudiants portent souvent des jeans bleus ou noirs avec des t-shirts blancs, des vestes grises ou marron* (inv.) et des chaussures blanches ou noires.

In French, when a common noun is used as an adjective, like in the case of orange, marron or noisette it does not take an s for plural.
