Ahora Empezamos is an elementary level Spanish textbook that consists of fifteen chapters. Each chapter begins with a useful list of vocabulary words and expressions. Exercises to practice the words and expressions follow. Then, grammar points are explained with ample practice exercises. At the end of each grammar point students are asked to reflect and critically think about what they have learned and to explain the concept in their own words.
Ahora Empezamos was written for individuals who are starting to learn or wanting to review Spanish. Instructors, learners, and individuals can use it alone, in a classroom, or with others outside of a formal educational setting. The author of Ahora Empezamos teaches college, but the text could be used by any individual or program starting to learn or review Spanish.
