Terry Ewell is Professor of online instruction and bassoon at Towson University Department of Music. In his 30+ years as a professional musician he has received recognition as a performer, teacher, scholar, and administrator.
Catherine Schmidt-Jones has been an independent instrumental music teacher since 1984 and has been publishing online open music education resources since 2002. She recently completed her Ph.D. in education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests include online open education, music theory pedagogy, informal music learning, activity theory and online action research methods.
