A set of communicative activities is available to support face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes (the “Actividades” links).

We have tried to make the activities as flexible as possible, since they may be presented differently in various modalities. When the course cartridge is imported, it will create a folder called “Actividades” with links to activities for each module. These links can be dragged to the relevant folders so that students can use them, or the folder can be hidden or deleted if the activities will be accessed a different way (such as cutting-and-pasting into LMS tools).

    Suggested use in online classes:

Because online classes use a variety of tools for synchronous and asynchronous communication (e.g. VoiceThread, Bongo, YouTube, LMS-native recording tools, discussion boards, Zoom, Google Meet, etc), we have left the decision of how to present these materials in the hands of programs or instructors. Depending on the format and pace of the course, course designers may want to choose one or two activities per section or module and paste them into the appropriate discussion tool. Activities links can also be dragged to the relevant module in the LMS.

    Suggested use in face-to-face classes:

Activities links can be dragged to the appropriate module in the LMS, so that students can find the relevant prompts for in-class activities. Activity pages can also be printed for in-class use.
