23 CLOCK TIME
Following is a listing of all the expressions regarding clock time that you are likely to need at this level.

21 Fill in any cardinal numeral between 2 (deux) and 11 (onze) or—for "army" time—between 2 (deux) or 24 (vingt-quatre). Except when using 24-hour official time, the French tend to avoid douze for "twelve o'clock" and prefer midi and minuit.
22 There is an -e on demi to agree with heure, except when it follows midi or minuit, which are both masculine. Minor point.
23 Use any cardinal numeral from 1 (une) to S9 (cinquante-neuf), without anything between it and the word "heure(s)".
24 Use any cardinal numeral between 1 (une) and 29 (vingt-neuf), directly after moins (no article).
