Moss. Él es catedrático de la Universidad Estatal de Pittsburg (Pittsburg, Kansas, EEUU). Obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad Estatal de Ohio (Columbus, Ohio, EEUU) en 2010. Terminó su Máster de estudios latinoamericanos en la Universidad de Salamanca (Salamanca, España) en 2004. Finalizó su licenciatura de filología hispánica y filología inglesa en 2001 en la Universidad de Utah (Salt Lake City, Utah, EEUU). Ha pasado más de siete años de su vida en España (Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Castellón, Salamanca, Lérida) y ha llevado a varios grupos de estudiantes estadounidenses a la península ibérica. También pasó un cuatrimestre en Quito, Ecuador con otro grupo. Terminó su carrera de filología hispánica en la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Valparaíso, Chile). Un recurso educativo abierto de español básico (publicado por primera vez en 2018).
