    Definition to Remember:

    • Turabian formatting and The Chicago Manual of Style are essentially the same, with slight modifications in the latter (both are typically used for liberal arts, humanities, and sciences)

    Rules to Remember:

    1. Use 12 point, Times New Roman font, with 1” margins on all sides.
    2. Include a header that numbers all pages consecutively in the upper right-hand corner, one half inch from the top of the page.
    3. Your essay includes 3 main sections: title page, body, and bibliography. If your instructor requires endnotes instead of footnotes, you will include an endnotes page in the back matter.
