Grammar

( \newcommand{\kernel}{\mathrm{null}\,}\)

Grammar is the set of structural rules governing the composition of clauses, phrases, and words in any given natural language. It encompasses syntax (the arrangement of words to form sentences), morphology (the structure of words themselves, including prefixes, suffixes, and roots), and semantics (the meaning conveyed by words and sentences). Grammatical rules vary from language to language and may cover aspects such as word order, verb conjugation, tense, mood, voice, agreement between different parts of a sentence, and more. These rules help speakers and writers communicate effectively and understand one another. Grammar provides the framework for organizing language in a coherent and meaningful way.
