- Toedit, search for grammatical errors, check punctuation, check spelling, and look over sentence style and word choices one last time. See chapters eight, nine, and ten for additional help.
- Toproofread, look for surface errors, such as typos, incorrect spacing, or formatting problems.
- Overall, look carefully for any error, large or small, that may weaken the essay’s message or undermine its credibility.
