In some cases, there will be an object because some verbs take an object, like comer as in Tu comes carne. Objects are the recipient of the action of a transitive verb: tú (subject) comes (transitive verb) carne (direct object).”
We have also seen how to turn both subjects into pronouns. For example, in Luisa bebe café, Luisa can be replaced to say Ella bebe café. In this section, we’ll learn more about direct objects and how to replace them with direct object pronouns.
