El propósito de este capítulo es usar las diferentes estructuras del presente del subjuntivo en combinación con el tiempo futuro y los mandatos para reflexionar y hablar sobre nuestros planes para el porvenir. Además, analizaremos la situación de los migrantes asiáticos en diferentes países de habla hispana y sus contribuciones a estos países.
The purpose of this chapter is to use the different structures of the present subjunctive in combination with the future tense and commands to reflect and talk about our plans for the future. Moreover, we will analyze the situation of Asian immigrants in different Spanish speaking countries and their contributions to these countries.

Mario Benedetti (1920-2009) fue un escritor, poeta, dramaturgo y periodista uruguayo. Es uno de los escritores más importantes de Uruguay, y de América Latina. Perteneció a lo que llamaban "Generación del 45", o al grupo de escritores uruguayos que empezaron su carrera entre 1945 y 1950. Publicó más de ochenta libros y muchos fueron traducidos a más de veinte idiomas. Creo la Fundación Mario Benedetti con el propósito de apoyar la literatura y luchas por los derechos humanos en su país, Uruguay.
