Imagine for a moment you are pursuing an initial B.S. degree in nursing and you are required to take a course during your 3rd year of school, studying Child Psychology. During this class you are assigned a paper in which you must comparison and contrast B. F. Skinner’s Theory of Operant Learning vs. Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory. This is a perfect example of a paper where you would compare and contrast two psychological theories that have overlapping ideas, time periods, and stimuli, while also having contrasting theories, controls, ideas, and stimuli. Consequently, this paper would need to have sections that discuss the similarities, differences, variants, and possibly, the controls groups.
