Este proverbio de Confucio aplica perfectamente para definir la actitud de Victoria Santa Cruz en su vida. Santa Cruz es la persona de la fotografía. Ella es de Perú y es una mujer versátil e inteligente. Sus talentos son su pasión. Es escritora, cantante, diseñadora y coreógrafa. Su familia también es artística. Su madre es pintora y bailarina, su padre es dramaturgo y escritor. El famoso poema “Me gritaron negra” es de Santa Cruz. Tanto ella como sus hermanos están unidos por el arte y durante toda su vida están promoviendo el folclor afroperuano.
