The verbs saber y conocer correspond to the verb to know in English. You should memorize the conjugations of each verb.
Both verbs are irregular when conjugating them in the first-person form. Which means, they do not follow the general -ar, -er, -ir rules. For example: yo sé yo conozco
However, the other pronouns follow the general rule. You should remember as well that you use each of these verbs according to the context or to what you describe to know. As follows:
Conocer= to express your general knowledge or familiarity with people, places or things.
For example: Victoria knows France.(France is a place)
Saber= to express you have a deeper knowledge of facts, information, or a skill (to know how to do something). For example: Victoria’s brothers know about music and they know how to sing and perform. (They have a lot of knowledge about the topic and they know how to).
