ESL 0202 Academic Format
This is the form to follow for essay writing in ESL 0202. Keep a one-inch margin on both sides of the page. Double-space your paper using the double-spacing function under “Paragraph Format” in Microsoft Word. Do not press return twice to double-space. Please use size 12-font and Times New Roman style. You should type all assignments and give each assignment a title. The title of your work should not be in bold or italicized. Put the thesis at the end of the first paragraph.
Do not forget to indent paragraphs and remember to capitalize titles. Each paragraph should have about four to seven sentences. One of these sentences should be a topic sentence. Do not forget to check for spelling errors.
The third paragraph begins here. When you are finished look at the number of words in your essay on the bottom left hand screen for Microsoft Word. Write the number of words at the end of your essay.
