Les Virelangues
Virelangues are tongue-twisters. Here's a list of common French virelangues. Can you pronounce them?
- As-tu été à Tahiti ?
- Seize chaises sèchent.
- Douze douches douces.
- As-tu vu le ver vert allant vers le verre en verre vert ?
- Cinq chiens chassent six chats.
- Son chat chante sa chanson.
- Un dragon gradé dégrade un gradé dragon.
- Un chasseur sachant chasser doit savoir chasser sans son chien.
- Le mur murant Paris rend Paris murmurant.
- Vincent vint sans vin et Vivien vint sans ses cent vingt vins.
- Vingt beaux blonds boivent vingt bons vins blancs sur un banc blanc.
- Un généreux déjeuner régénérerait des généraux dégénérés.
- As-tu vu le tutu de tulle de Lili d'Honolulu ?
- Les chaussettes de l‘archiduchesse sont-elles sèches, archi-sèches ?
- Trois tortues trottaient sur un trottoir très étroit.
