After finishing his bachelor's, he'd been studying for two years to become a librarian and it was his first day on the job. He thought he'd learned everything about the services libraries offered, but his new library astounded him!
If you can think of something you wanted, your local library has probably considered offering it! Kyan spent his first day helping people find books, apply for jobs, print off resumes, and even learn how to use the computer!
When he wasn't as busy helping people who wanted to borrow tools, videos, and a powerwasher, he got to spend some time learning how to use the library's button maker and 3D printer. He found himself amazed by all the different resources offered by the library, and by the different reasons people came to use the space.
