David y Luisa hablan en una recepción para estudiantes que acaban de volver (who just returned) de sus estudios al extranjero (their overseas study). Lee el diálogo y contesta las preguntas para analizar la gramática.
Luisa: Hola, David, tú fuiste a Bolivia, ¿verdad?
David: No, de veras yo fui a Ecuador. Fue un buen viaje, excepto por el vuelo.
Luisa: ¿Qué pasó? ¿Te pusiste enfermo en el vuelo?
David: No, hubo una avería (malfunction) y el avión fue a México para ser reparado. Nosotros dormimos la noche en el aeropuerto y fuimos a Ecuador el día siguiente en otro avión.
Luisa: ¿Te volviste loco de impaciencia?
David: Sí, un poco. Esperamos mucho tiempo. Los pilotos y asistentes de vuelo fueron a un hotel para pasar la noche, pero no teníamos reservaciones y tuvimos que dormir en un asiento en el aeropuerto.
Luisa: ¡Qué buena profesión, ser piloto!
David: Al contrario, mi primo se hizo piloto para viajar y ver el mundo, pero solamente vio aeropuertos y hoteles. Al final, no le gustó mucho la profesión. Bueno, ¿cómo fue tu experiencia en Costa Rica?
