    Your partner in class has won a spotlight in the University’s newsletter as the top student of the semester and it is your job to interview him/her for the 75-100 word article. Follow the steps below to complete the task.

    Paso 1: Talk to a classmate using the following guided questionnaire as well as adding 3 more questions you would like to ask. Be sure to take notes on what your partner says.

    12. ¿Cuál es tu día favorito de la semana?
    13. ¿Cuál es tu peor (worst) día de la semana?
    14. ¿Trabajas? ¿Dónde?
    15. ¿Cuántas horas trabajas por semana?
    16. ¿Cuáles son tus actividades favoritas?
    17. ¿Qué planes tienes para las próximas vacaciones?

    Paso 2: Using the information you have collected from the interview, write a logical and organized paragraph. Be sure to title your writing: “La vida de mi compañero como estudiante universitario”

    1. Do you properly introduce your partner as an introduction sentence?
    2. Do your -ar, -er, -ir verbs agree with the subject?
    3. Did you check your spelling, punctuation, and capitalization?
    4. Have you looked at combining short sentences together with “y” or “pero”?
    5. Have you tried transition words at the beginning of sentences such as “también” (also) or “después de (infinitive)” (after)?
    6. Did you write a paragraph with 75-100 words?
