We have already seen how speakers of Spanish use the subjunctive when the main or independent clause expresses influence, emotion, and desire. In the video that follows, which is a children's song about rain, you'll hear the subjunctive but none of the "trigger" verbs.

Paso 1: As you listen (0:00-O:48), try to write down in your notebook all three subjunctive forms that you hear. (No need to write down verbs that repeat)

Ejemplos adicionales:

In this particular usage "quiero" or "espero" is implied without having to actually say it.
