Pedro quiere comunicarse con sus padres durante la pandemia del COVID-19, pero no quiere visitarlos para no contagiarlos. Sus padres no se sienten cómodos con la tecnología nueva. Vamos a ver qué hace Pedro para hablar con ellos con frecuencia. Presta atención a los mandatos que Pedro usa para darles instrucciones a sus padres. Lectura
A Pedro le encanta visitar a sus padres los fines de semana, pero ya no puede hacerlo a causa del coronavirus. Sus padres tienen más de 65 años y deben cuidarse más que los jóvenes porque pueden tener consecuencias más graves. ¡Pedro está preocupadísimo por sus padres! No sabe cuándo los va a poder visitar otra vez.
Los padres de Pedro no saben usar la computadora, pero tienen un teléfono inteligente que él les regaló. Para que sus padres se sientan más cerca de él, Pedro le enseña a su madre a hacer una videollamada.
Pedro: Mamá, primero descarga la aplicación de Zoom en tu celular.
Mamá de Pedro: ¿Dónde está esa aplicación, Pedro?
Pedro: Ve al sitio web de Zoom.us
Mamá de Pedro: ¡Sí, ya la encontré! ¿Qué hago ahora?
Pedro: Crea una cuenta. Necesitas un nombre de usuario y una contraseña. Después, vas a ver un mensaje que te pregunta si deseas descargar la aplicación de Zoom. Dale clic a “sí”.
Mamá de Pedro: Ya lo hice. ¿Qué más hago?
Pedro: Ya tienes una cuenta. Mándame un mensaje de texto para empezar la videollamada. Yo voy a comenzar la videollamada para hacerlo más fácil. Te voy a enviar un enlace (link) antes de cada videollamada. Tú solamente hazle clic al enlace para empezar el video.
Mamá de Pedro: Yo creo que no es muy difícil, pero si no puedo hacerlo mándame las instrucciones otra vez por medio de un mensaje de texto.
Pedro: Sí, claro. Yo te voy a ayudar. En muy poco tiempo vas a ser experta en videollamadas.
Mamá de Pedro: Gracias, hijo. Llámame pronto y mándame muchos mensajes de texto también para no sentirme tan sola.
Pedro: Claro que sí, mamá. Yo tampoco quiero extrañarte ni a ti, ni a papá.
Mamá de Pedro: Cuídate mucho, Pedro.
