Twenty-one countries have Spanish as their official language. There are nineteen Spanish speaking countries in Latin America, one in Africa and one in Europe (Spain). In addition to the countries that have Spanish as their official language, in the United States more than 40,000,000 people speak Spanish.
Spanish-Speaking Countries and Their Nationalities
Here is the list of the twenty-one Spanish-speaking countries and the nationality of their people. Note that nationalities in Spanish do not require a capital letter at the beginning. Moreover, most nationalities have a masculine and a feminine version.
