    Conclusion and Contrasts

    The art and individual artists flourished during this time, developing new techniques and concepts from the dark, brooding colors of the Baroque to the finely stylized landscapes in Asia. As the cultures moved outside their usual boundaries, they brought ideas of their cultures and artistic methods with them, influencing local art.
