Domine in caelo misericordia tua
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord.
Your loyal love, Lord, reaches to the skies,
Your faithfulness to the clouds.
Your covenant justice is like the high mountains,
Your equity like the great Deep.
You, Lord, preserve both man and beast;
How precious, God, is Your loyal love.
The sons of Adam find refuge in the shadow of Your wings;
from the rich bounty of Your house they are satisfied,
from the river of Your delights You give them drink.
For with You is the fountain of life;
in Your light we see light.
Extend Your loyal love to them that know You,
Your covenant justice to the upright in heart.
Almighty God, in You is light and truth, and Your faithfulness knows no bounds. Bring us ever to the river of Your delights: the blessed Sacrament of Your Son’s true body and blood; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
